- We engaged 1,318 people over 56 outreach events

- Check out more that we’ve done in past years here
Our Help Me Grow team has grown as well! In the last year, we have brought on another Resource Specialist, another Parent Support Specialist, added two Community Liaisons; one in Utah County and one in Northern Utah, and a Community Outreach intern!
We want to recognize the hard work of our team and interns throughout this past year.
Here’s what some of our staff had to say.
“Help Me Grow has taught me how there are lots of different ways to be powerful caring parents and to support a child’s development.” – Katie, Parent Support Specialist
“I have been able to share resources with my children as parenting questions have come up with their own children.” – Staci, Community Liaison
“I love sharing what I learn at Help Me Grow with my friends. I have been able to help a friend feel more prepared to give birth and care for her newborn. I shared some walking tips with a friend and she shared that it helped [her son] start taking steps. I loved reaching out to a friend who had premature twins with one in the hospital for a long time. She wanted information on bonding with a baby in the NICU and to find a home nurse for when the baby comes home. It is an overwhelming situation for the family and I was grateful to help them feel supported in a small way.” – Mallori, Parent Support Specialist
“Help Me Grow Utah has really helped me see how much good there is in the world! I love that I have the opportunity to work and talk with volunteers. It has helped me look for the good. Because of my knowledge about community resources, I often get called by family or friends about their tough situations and get asked where they can go for help. I love that I have this ability.” – Jodi, Outreach Manager
“Help Me Grow Utah has given me the ability to parent confidently. The ASQ screenings help me track my child’s development and the resources Help Me Grow shares give me the ability to talk confidently with his pediatrician. I love that I’m an active participant in his development.” – Maddison, Resource Specialist & Help Me Grow family
It truly has been a year for the books!
